About the Firm

Professional Experience

Before starting his own practice in late 2004,
Michael was Senior Counsel in the Boston
office of the national firm Holland & Knight LLP,
where he was a member of the firm's Litigation
Section, Media Team, and Intellectual Property
Litigation Team. Before that he was for many
years an equity partner in the Boston firm
Morrison, Mahoney & Miller, L.L.P. (now
Morrison Mahoney, LLP).

Active in Colgate University alumni and
development activities, including continuing

Pro bono representations have included work
on behalf of artists, and the successful

s Republic of China who sought asylum in the
United States due to his imprisonment and
torture in China because of his participation in
the Falun Gong spiritual movement.

Personal

Michael resides in Newton, Massachusetts, with
his wife, who also is a lawyer, and three
children.
